"I haven’t learned or practice Spanish in many years and I want to try to improve my conversational skills since I encounter many Spanish speaking people as a physician. I was extremely nervous to start taking lessons but Raiza has been so approachable and supportive. I appreciate the structure of classes, the notes she takes so I can review my mistakes and grammar, and the light homework assigned. It’s stress free and I can feel myself becoming more comfortable. Lessons are mostly in Spanish and I really appreciate her real time corrections of my grammar with explanations. She’s so knowledgeable about grammar and has adapted lessons to be personalized and relevant. Highly recommend!"

"Raiza is an excellent instructor. I took my time and listened to many of the instructors' videos. Raiza was the easiest to understand, and I liked her simplistic ways. Sometimes, simple ways create more clarity and greater understanding. She is actually from Peru but is studying in Argentina. She's definitely knowledgeable of sentence structure and grammar (I believe she's pursuing her Master's in Linguistics). I am a beginner, but I would take her intermediate/advanced sessions. She knows her stuff. She helps me look for patterns, especially because Spanish is spoken so quickly. We go over rules and pronunciation. Pronunciation is so important. She's always prompt, logs on early to correct my work OUTSIDE of our 1-hour window, and is consistently patient. I am repeating the same mistakes. She works hard. It's an admirable quality. That's the team you want to be on! I recommend her!"

Raiza is the best teacher i've ever had. She can assess what level you are at in conversation and cater the class to exactly what you're needing. I am taking the classes to pass the spanish fluency exam at my work and I feel so much more confident even after just 4 sessions. I know as I continue with sessions I will improve more. She also assigns homework to keep your brain working outside of sessions. Highly recommend her!

"I cannot recommend Raiza enough! She is the best Spanish teacher I have ever worked with. She is very clear in her speech, very patient, and very good at finding various ways of explaining in Spanish when I am confused. She uses the lesson time very efficiently, and lets me struggle to converse without interruption for a period of time before going back and showing me, with written notes, the errors I have made and the corrections needed. She is proficient in linguistics in general and can explain the rules of Spanish grammar in a way that I understand and remember. She is also a really nice person and interesting to talk to, so conversation with her is fun!"

"Very organized, detailed and fun to learn from. She speaks in Spanish for about 95% of the class - which is a challenge, but it helps me mentally prepare for the speed and fluidity of how natives speak.
